INTERVIEW Things that I can do for being born overseas.
Further strengthening the global management system.
Q.When do you feel a sense of accomplishment from work?
KOITO’s corporate attitude of wanting to proactively try new things on a global scale was something that I also wanted to do. And I feel a sense of accomplishment through the consolidated accounting system that I oversee, because I know I’m contributing to further strengthen the global management system. I feel a great sense of responsibility because I handle different types of numbers related to our company. But I feel a great sense of accomplishment when my accounting tasks are finished. People in our Finance & Accounting Headquarters visit overseas offices that we oversee, and we communicate directly with employees working there. I really enjoy making improvements as a global team and working beyond the border of nationality and language.
Q.What will you like to try in the future?
I want to make use of my own international background, language skills, and specialty in accounting to improve work efficiency, promote work standardization, and further strengthen KOITO’s global management system. I work with the conviction that I can do what I do because I was born overseas. I’m very grateful that I have many people around me like my boss and my colleagues who are encouraging and are accepting of my passion. With the spirit of “all for one, one for all,” I want to work hard along with my global team, and overcome the wave of once-in-a-century revolution.
Q.Do you have any advice for people who are job searching?
We need courage, hard work, and conviction to make something that impacts our future. “I won’t run away no matter what happens during the once-in-a-century revolution.” I look forward to working with someone who feels that way.
