Q.Tell us what kind of work you do.
I’m in charge of sales targeted to automobile manufacturers. Our main work involves giving sales pitches for assigned vehicles, following up on product development, and negotiating prices. In an age where the automotive industry is entering a once-in-a-century revolution, I’m doing my part in creating the future of manufacturing along with our customers. I transmit and develop information that I received from our customers to relevant departments as promptly as possible. Coordinating information inside and outside of the company is another one of my important tasks that I do to contribute to a smooth manufacturing process.
Q.When do you feel a sense of accomplishment from work?
I feel a sense of accomplishment from knowing that my role is directly connected to the company’s sales. Sales is the face of the company, and my every action has a great influence on our company’s trustworthiness. So I carry out each task with seriousness every day.
Q.Do you have any advice for people who are job searching?
It’s important to gather information from each department to solve problems when carrying out your work, because there’s only so much that you can do with your own ability. This job is perfect for people who aspire to accomplish things with those with similar aspirations across various companies and for those who aspire to take up the challenge of overcoming endless obstacles of pioneering the future of the entire automotive industry.

Q.What kind of company is KOITO to you?

It’s a company that allows you to have a work-life balance. During work, I give my all to the future of the automotive industry, but on my days off, I enjoy my hobby like watching sports and cherish the time with my family. Paid vacation days are easy to take, so I feel a sense of fulfillment both at work and at home.
